Making Mr. Peychaud proud

  • 2 oz - Rye Whiskey
  • 1/4 oz - Simple Syrup (1:1)
  • 3 dashes - Peychaud's Bitters
  • 1 dash - Angostura Bitters
  • Coat the glass with - Absinthe
    • Stir the whiskey, simple syrup, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice. Coat the interior surface of a glass (rocks or coupe) with absinthe. Strain the ingredients into the glass. Twist a lemon peel over the surface and rim, and drop it in.
